We are a benefit company created to develop new green areas in Italy
Arbolia, jointly conceived by Snam and the CDP Foundation, is the new Italian benefit company created to develop green areas in Italian cities and territories.
The afforestation and reforestation initiatives planned by Arbolia are carried out on land made available by the public administration and private individuals, through the support of those who wish to contribute to improving the environment.
Arbolia also offers carbon footprint analysis services aimed at monitoring and reducing impacts in terms of CO2 emissions.
What is a benefit company?
A benefit company, in addition to its profit goals, aims to have a positive impact on society and the planet. It therefore puts the needs of the community first. Italy was one of the first countries in the world to adopt this corporate structure.
Our mission is to contribute to the fight against climate change, to improve air quality and to create opportunities for social and economic development for Italian cities and territories.
Create new "green belts" in Italy and promote biodiversity
Combat the climate crisis and global warming, reduce CO2 emissions
Improve the quality of air and life in Italian cities
Involve local communities
Promote the economic and social development of the territories
Respond to the need of companies and privates to contribute to forestry initiatives
