On occasion of World Environment Day, Arbolia donates plants to a non-profit organization in Milan

Arbolia, the benefit company created at the end of last year by Snam and the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Foundation, has donated ten trees to the non-profit organization “La Strada” on occasion of World Environment Day. The trees - including maples, hornbeams and cherries - will be taken care of and subsequently planted by the children assisted by the Cooperative, which cares for and trains children and adults in difficult situations in the Corvetto district, south of the city. The initiative was carried out by Arbolia in collaboration with the Simeoni Ermanno company of Morazzone (Va).

Arbolia, meanwhile, continues its mission to give life to new urban forests in Italian cities. To date, it has built six, for a total of 11 thousand plants, in five Italian cities: Turin, Parma, Rovigo, Pignataro Maggiore (Ce) and Lecce. Looking to the next few months, other initiatives and projects are being developed in twenty Italian municipalities, from North to South of the country.

Arbolia designs and builds urban forests, taking care of their maintenance for the first few years, on lands made available by the public administration or private individuals, in partnership with companies that want to reduce their carbon footprint or implement forestation initiatives for their stakeholders.
